Here is a side by side comparison of how The New York Times has profiled Michael Brown — an 18 year old black boy gunned down by police — and how they profiled Ted Bundy, one of the most prolific serial killers of all time.

Source for Brown, Source for Bundy.

Character assassination much.

To be fair —

There are a lot of people who are unaware that Mike Brown committed a robbery.

Nobody is like “Ted Bundy, sounds like a stand-up guy!”

No, I’m going to stop you right there. The actual store owners have spoken out that Mike Brown actually paid and that the convenience store tape was CONVENIENTLY EDITED to show otherwise, so I’m going to need you to sit back down and think about how you’re trying to point out a (debunked) myth like it makes any difference on the humanity and worth of this boy. You’re trying to take the focus off the bias of this comparison. Goodbye.

this why they killed him

Support the message 100%, but let’s not misinform all these kids.

JFK was assassinated by elements of the CIA and U.S. Government, going up to the highest levels (the unseen hand levels) because he was threatening the very foundation of their economic control of this country. JFK was attempting to audit the Federal Reserve and hold it accountable (this could never be allowed to happen, and was his biggest mistake), he was implementing a bill that would have ended the Vietnam War before it began, and he was shutting down the CIA.

That’s why he was assassinated.

"Waste of good ammo. It’s my privilege to buy you a replacement box."

"All self-respecting whites have a moral responsibility to support our growing number of martyrs to the failed experiment called diversity."

"I thank all Police, you are the ‘Thin Blue Line’ protecting normal Americans from aggressive and entitled primitive savages. America is surely at the tipping point."

Just a few quotes (in case it’s hard to read) from that collection of donation messages for Darren Wilson.

Does anyone else want to say it’s not about race?

There are no words left.

Hedy Epstein, 90-Year-Old Holocaust Survivor, Arrested During Michael Brown Protest

Hedy Epstein, a 90-year-old Holocaust survivor, was arrested on Monday during unrest over the death of Michael Brown,KMOV reports.

Epstein, who aided Allied forces in the Nuremberg trials, was placed under arrest in downtown St. Louis, Missouri “for failing to disperse” during a protest of Governor Jay Nixon’s decision to call in National Guard into Ferguson. Eight others were also arrested.

“I’ve been doing this since I was a teenager. I didn’t think I would have to do it when I was ninety,” Epstein told The Nation during her arrest. “We need to stand up today so that people won’t have to do this when they’re ninety.”

What with this news and the Houston Gay photo on Twitter, I was mistaken about how disheartened and furious I could be about the escalating events in #Ferguson. This is one of the most important civil rights events of our time, and to witness people who have already lived through such atrocities having to stand up against the same injustice so many decades later is utterly infuriating.

#Ferguson is one of the many sparks that’s lighting up the world’s injustice. For the sake of all affected and involved, and for the social-and-political darkness this flame could dispel, please, don’t let its fire go out. Spread the word.

here’s one of my designs for the Threadless $20,000 Challenge; it’s called Stimulating to the Senses, and you can score it here. this challenge introduces a new feature called ‘Funding’; this feature gives an option to pre-order the design (fund it). if the design receives 50 or more pre-orders, Threadless will take the design to print for the people who placed advanced orders (and it then has the chance to be included in the catalog for mass production).the best part is that they attach a promo-code to every design that takes $5 off your purchase. the promo code for my design is: AW4RX7. don’t worry: if the design isn’t funded in 7 days, you will not be charged. these are prospective buys that let Threadless know the popularity of a design.also, don’t forget to leave a score and comment!
